The construction of the Jongpyong Terrapin Farm which can breed terrapins safely in all seasons was successfully completed in South Hamgyong Province, the DPRK.
The farm built in Jongpyong County was fully equipped with conditions for putting the breeding of terrapins on a scientific and intensive basis, including indoor terrapin blocks, feed processing factory and gravity-fed water supply and filtering facility.
An inauguration ceremony held on December 21st was attended by Wi Chol Su, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials, working people and builders of Jongpyong County and employees of the farm.
Kim Yong Sik, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, made an inauguration address.
