We should strengthen the nuclear war deterrent nobody can reverse to give fear to the enemy, deter a war actually and provide a reliable guarantee to the peaceful life of our people and their struggle for socialist construction.

We will continue to bring the United States and south Korea to see the recklessness of the large-scale military exercises they are frequently conducting in the region of the Korean peninsula while openly antagonizing the DPRK. We will make them realize of their own accord that the further their military manoeuvres against the DPRK last and expand, the more serious the irretrievable threat to them will be.

In this way, he made clear the policy of coping with the enemy.
